Collagen Induction Therapy, also known as Skin Needling, is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles. This is a safe and controlled procedure to trick the skin into thinking it has been wounded.
The body then activates new collagen production, resulting in vibrant and glowing skin. The EXCEED medical micro needling device is clinically proven to visibly reduce wrinkles and treat acne scarring, in particular, to reduce the depth of scars and to normalise the skin structure.
Calma recommends booking in for a bespoke facial or Skin Discovery Session prior to skin needling. Preparation of the skin in the weeks leading up to skin needling will enhance the impact of treatment and reduce any potential side effects.
